Ryton machined parts are precision-manufactured to your exact specifications and drawings. Because Ryton® PPS offers excellent heat, chemical, and dimensional stability, it is widely used in demanding industrial applications. As a result, Ryton parts perform reliably in high-temperature, corrosive, and electrically sensitive environments where other plastics may fail.

MATERIAL DESCRIPTION

Polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) offers the broadest resistance to chemicals of any advanced engineering plastic.
They have no known solvents below 392°F and are inert to steam, strong bases, fuels, and acids.
PPS is ideal for precise tolerance machined components because it has minimal moisture absorption and a very low coefficient of linear thermal expansion.

Benefits of Ryton® PPS Machined Parts

  • Excellent high-temperature resistance

  • Outstanding chemical resistance

  • Low moisture absorption

  • Strong dimensional stability

  • Good electrical insulation properties

GRADES OF Ryton® PPS

RYTON® 40% Glass Reinforced PPS

Ryton®, a glass filled PPS, is the most recognized filled grade of PPS.
Glass filled PPS has better dimensional stability and thermal performance than unfilled Techtron® PPS and maintains its strength to above 425°F.

Common Ryton® PPS Machined Parts

Ryton® PPS Machined Parts are made in a completely controlled environment.

Some Examples of parts we can machine from Ryton® PPS:

PPS O-rings, PPS Seats, PPS  Bushings, PPS Bearings, PPS Guide Blocks, PPS Wear Pads, PPS Washers.

Ryton® is a registered trademark of Syensgo.
